For this piece, I wanted to create some cool looking retro wireframes. I used Cinema 4D to create some basic primitives, and then placed them inside of Atom Array objects. I kept the animations pretty simple within Cinema 4D, but wanted to try animating the camera within After Effects.
After getting the desired look in C4D by adjusting the Atom Array parameters and animations, I took the objects into After Effects. There, I opted to do all of the camera movements and added the blue hue as well as glows, scan lines, displacement maps and some particles using Trapcode Particular. Once again, I finished off the piece with a pulsating synth music track to help with the retro feel.
